06. Is this program all I need to heal?

By |2022-09-11T20:11:27-07:00September 10th, 2022||

It’s not possible to give a definitive answer to this often asked question because everyone is uniquely different! For some people, through dedicated application of the education in this program, it can be enough. Other people will need additional support such as individual sessions with a skilled Somatic practitioner, and/or the application of other modalities [...]

By |2022-09-11T20:23:11-07:00September 10th, 2022||

This is another tricky question to answer! It’s important to begin with a mutual definition of “overwhelmed.” And to consider “past” and “present” time. Basically, overwhelmed means “too much.” It’s the most basic description of trauma: Something that was, or is, “too much” for our nervous system to process. Historically, this is the case with [...]

3. I wonder why sometimes we fall asleep when we do these exercises. As a person who doesn’t nap or fall asleep very easily, it’s a crazy experience to literally almost pass out. Thoughts?

By |2019-11-14T14:10:50-08:00April 30th, 2019||

1. I found myself passing a lot of gas (I have digestive problems at the moment). Is it possible that these exercises can affect my digestive tracts?

By |2019-11-14T16:08:30-08:00May 24th, 2019||

Sure! The focus is on the back and simple movements of the legs, but there is a lot of movement that passes through the abdomen as a result, so it’s not surprising to me that things might start moving.
