If you are experiencing chest pains it may be good to get things checked out with your doctor just to rule things out. That being said, it is very common to get these kinds of sharp pains in the chest as we’re doing this work. We believe that this is the result of fascia opening up.

Fascia is amazing stuff! It is supposed to be, ideally, smooth, silky, and elastic, yet it can also be very hard and rigid, which can often occur as the result of shock, trauma, and chronic stress. When fascia becomes very rigid, which is a protective reflex, and then stays that way, it can be very painful when it starts to loosen up. We believe that this is what is going on with this kind of sharp chest pain, again, granted there isn’t something more serious going on with the heart.
