Please follow these bullet points to format and compose your question to ensure a complete answer.

– QUESTION: Begin your post with “QUESTION”. This alerts the moderation team to notice the post as a QUESTION and offer an answer or reply, versus a general comment that does not require a return comment.

– CLARITY WITH CONTENT vs. CONTEXT: Consider – what is the foundational essence of the question you’re asking? That’s the content. What’s happening for you, that you have a question about? The details of “what happened” is the context or narrative about what happened and is not necessary for the team to offer you a fully informed answer or reply to your question. A few brush strokes of context are invited for reference. A full history or narrative of the people, places, things, etc, is not needed.

We recognize everyone has unique histories, traumatic experiences and social, cultural and family conditioning that make up the narrative of our lives. However, remember that with trauma, including early developmental disruptions, it’s not the thing that happened, but how our system got stuck in response to the things that happened. Please be aware to limit the details of the story about what happened, and tell us what’s happening with you, now.

– ONE QUESTION PER POST: Please include only one question within a post. You’re welcome to make multiple posts if you have multiple questions.

Following these guidelines will help you compose a succinct, specific and summarized question within the character limit, that helps the moderation team offer a high quality answer or reply.
